The predicate catalyzer identifies the particular thing that acts as a catalyst in a particular chemical reaction. (catalyzer R X) means that the chemical reaction R has the particular quantity of substance X as a catalyst. For example, every instance of photosynthesis has some portion of chlorophyll as a catalyst; an amount of water may be a catalyzer in some oxidation of a metal.
