An predicate describing actors in events and a specialization of both Animate Actors and affected object (qq.v.). This predicate relates an event to any living things (see living thing) that are significantly affected in that event. (Animate Acted On EVENT BLO) means that (affected object EVENT BLO) and BLO is alive during EVENT. An important specialization of this predicate is agent physically acted on.
