A collection of collections. Each member TYPE of military weapon classification is either a specification of military weapon or a specification of weapon system satisfying the following conditions. (i) TYPE is distinguished from other members of military weapon classification by a main function that members of TYPE have. Thus, e.g., fighter plane is a member of military weapon classification while F-18 is not. (ii) The so-called 'main function' should not be too broad or too narrow, but significant enough for comparison between different military organizations. Thus neither weapon nor handgun is a member of military weapon classification.
