MetavilleMt is a FictionalContext intended to hold knowledge about Metaville, a fictional city designed and ongoingly extended by Cyclists for the purpose of testing and demonstrating commonsense axioms. One motivation of this microtheory is to separate the task of testing some set of axioms from the task of identifying truthful real-world situations in which the axioms obtain. Metaville is a city on the planet MetaWorld. While Meta World Mt contains assertions about objects and events of interest on a worldwide scale (such as a war, a major invention, migrations of peoples, etc.), Metaville Mt contains assertions about people, events and objects of interest at the city level of detail (such as a park, some families, a mayor, some businesses, a car accident, etc.). The fiction in Metaville and in Metaworld should be as realistic as possible (e.g. pigs can't fly in Metaville), so as to provide the best environment for testing real-world common sense.
