Kake is a programming language which is a set of extensions to HTML which allows a developer to query and edit a Cyc knowledge base. Ordinarily, a kake template will be expanded into HTML which can be displayed by a web browser. Much of the Kake language is plain HTML, and Kake-specific tags are designed to look like HTML tags, in order to make writing Kake easy for people who are used to writing HTML. The Kake programming language is modelled after Allaire Corporation's Cold Fusion.
