A specialization of computer component. Each instance of this collection is a computer bus, a device which transmits data from one part of a computer to another. Generally the computer bus will connect all devices to the computer central processing unit and main memory.
The computer bus consists of two parts -- the address bus and a data bus. The data bus transfers actual data, whereas the address bus transfers information about where the data should go. See also the specializations interrnal bus and peripheral bus.
