A specialization of spatial thing. Each instance of axisymmetric object is a (tangible or intangible) spatial thing that is symmetric with respect to an axis. Such an axis, which is a straight line, is an axis of symmetry (see Symmetric Axes) of the spatial thing. An axially symmetric object might be a bilaterally symmetric object or a radial thing (qq.v.).
