Amazon-Warriors (the Amazons) were each one of a nation of FemalePerson warriors of ancient Scythia who burned off the right breast in order to use a bow and arrow more effectively. Female warriors in any nation are sometimes called 'amazons'. (The word 'amazon' has also become a nick-name for big beautiful woman in the 1990's.)
